Slam Jam Reworks the 1461 For Inaugural Dr. Martens Collaboration

Having collaborated with many heavy hitters in both the streetwear and art world, it might come as a surprise that Dr. Martens‘s latest team-up with Slam Jam is the first for the Italian retailer.

For their inaugural effort, the duo merge workwear and electronic music subcultures. The result is a sleek Slam Jam x martens 1460 pascal vegan boot crafted from smooth black leather injected with subtle construction worker uniform detailing and custom-molded vamps and sidewalls. Further elevating the pair are the black and white laces running through the sidewalls, screw-off aglets, and reflective details. Lastly, co-branding arrives on the insoles as well as Slam Jam’s (Un)corporate Uniforms branding.
