It appears that New Balance is following suit as Mr530 like Nike, adidas, and even Vans have taken their presence to the Metaverse. This news comes by way of trademark attorney, Josh Gerben, who took to Twitter to share the New Balance filings.
New Balance is coming to the metaverse.

The first trademark covers New Balance footwear, clothing, sportswear equipment, and accessories. These items are mentioned again in the second trademark, which fiegs that these New Balance products be used in online retail store services. The third and final claim asks that these items be allowed in virtual environments for entertainment purposes.
